Emma

Emma is a South Korean singer, dancer, and rapper who debuted as a member of the seven-piece girl group BADVILLAIN under BPM Entertainment (Big Planet Made) on June 3, 2024. Born Song Hye-min on April 26, 2000, Emma grew up partly in Vancouver, Canada, which gave her a fluent command of both English and Korean long before she ever stepped into a trainee room.

Long before BADVILLAIN existed, Emma was already a familiar face to Korean dance fans. She began dancing at 16 and went on to perform as a backup dancer for artists like Kang Daniel, KEY, and Hyuna & Dawn. Her biggest pre-debut spotlight came on Mnet’s hit competition show Street Woman Fighter, where she represented the crew WANT and showed off the sharp, powerful dancing that would later define her role as BADVILLAIN’s Main Dancer and Rapper.

When BADVILLAIN’s line-up was finally confirmed in May 2024, Emma stood out as a member who already carried real industry experience, and she quickly became known within the group for her playful energy and her habit of cracking up the other members backstage. On stage, she anchors BADVILLAIN’s choreography, and off stage, fans have come to love her warm personality and her honesty about idols like BoA, whom she names as a personal role model.

Since debut, Emma has promoted through BADVILLAIN’s full run of releases — “OVERSTEP,” “HURRICANE,” “ZOOM,” and “THRILLER” — helping build the group’s identity as a bold, take-no-prisoners 5th-generation act. Whatever comes next for BADVILLAIN, Emma’s dance background and bicultural upbringing continue to make her one of the group’s most distinctive members.
