Who Is Gehlee?

Gehlee, born Gehlee Gimena Dangca on August 19, 2007, is a Filipina member of UNIS, the multinational girl group under F&F Entertainment formed through the SBS survival show Universe Ticket. Hailing from Las Piñas in the Philippines, she is one of three members with Filipino roots in the group’s lineup, alongside Elisia and part-Filipina leader Hyeonju.

Before stepping into K-pop, Gehlee was already a familiar name in Filipino pageantry and modeling circles, competing in beauty pageants from the age of twelve and later earning ambassador roles for youth-focused and lifestyle brands. That poise served her well on Universe Ticket, where fellow contestants nicknamed her “Princess” for her graceful presence — a title she embraced, even joking that she was the show’s very own Disney princess. She climbed from the competition’s lower ranks to finish fourth overall, locking in her spot in UNIS.

As UNIS’s sub-vocalist and visual, Gehlee has become known for her warm tone and camera-ready presence across releases like “Superwoman,” “Curious,” and “Swicy.” Outside of music, she stays connected with fans through her personal social media, where she shares glimpses of daily life, including her husky, Meiji, and her love of digital art. Her openness — including publicly correcting inaccurate fan-site information about herself — has made her a relatable, down-to-earth figure within EverAfter, UNIS’s fandom.
