Junseo

Junseo (real name Kim Jun Seo, 김준서) is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor best known as a member of the multinational project boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) under WAKEONE Entertainment, as well as the maknae of WEi under Oui Entertainment. Born on November 20, 2001, in Mugeo-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea, Junseo is the oldest member of ALPHA DRIVE ONE.

His journey in the K-pop industry began on the 2018 MBC survival show Under Nineteen, where he placed 9th and secured a spot in the project group 1THE9, promoting with the group from April 2019 until its disbandment in August 2020. He carried that momentum into a full debut later that same year, joining WEi on October 5, 2020. Beyond performing, Junseo has built a reputation as a capable songwriter, contributing to tracks such as 1THE9’s “Blah” and WEi’s “Hug You” and “Diffuser.”

In 2025, Junseo returned to the survival-show format as a contestant on Mnet’s Boys II Planet, ultimately ranking 8th overall in the finale and earning his place in the newly formed ALPHA DRIVE ONE. He officially debuted with the group’s first mini album, Euphoria, on January 12, 2026, promoting alongside WEi as part of a dual-group activity schedule. Junseo also expanded into acting, making his debut in the BL drama Secret Relationship in February 2025.

Known affectionately by nicknames like Prince Jun Seo, Visual Prince, and Baby Sunshine, Junseo is admired by fans for his warm stage presence, his songwriting talent, and his steady, determined attitude. As part of ALPHA DRIVE ONE, he contributed to the group’s historic debut, which saw the team become the first boy group in nine years to sweep South Korea’s three terrestrial music shows with a debut single, “Freak Alarm.”
