Kwon Eun-bi

Kwon Eun-bi is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actress who first captured the nation’s attention as the leader of the twelve-member South Korean-Japanese girl group IZ*ONE. Born on September 27, 1995, in Seoul, Eun-bi dreamed of becoming a K-pop idol from a young age, drawing inspiration from artists like IU. She made her first professional steps in 2014 as “Kazoo,” a member of the short-lived girl group Ye-A, before joining Woollim Entertainment as a trainee.

In 2018, Eun-bi competed on Mnet’s survival show Produce 48, finishing in 7th place and earning a spot in the project group IZ*ONE. Unanimously chosen by her fellow members as their leader, she guided the group through iconic releases such as “La Vie en Rose,” “Violeta,” and “Panorama,” establishing herself as a powerhouse main dancer and lead vocalist. Fans often referred to her as the group’s “mother” for her caring, dependable presence.

Following IZ*ONE’s disbandment in April 2021, Kwon Eun-bi launched a flourishing solo career under Woollim Entertainment, debuting in August 2021 with the EP Open and its lead single “Door.” She followed up with Color (2022), Lethality (2022), and a string of singles that showcased her versatility as an all-round performer, songwriter, and stage entertainer. Her explosive live performance at Waterbomb 2023 earned her the nickname “Waterbomb Goddess,” cementing her status as one of K-pop’s most compelling festival performers.

Beyond music, Eun-bi has expanded into acting, hosting, radio DJ-ing, and business ventures, including running her own café. In 2026, after nearly a decade with Woollim Entertainment, she signed with RBW, opening a new chapter in her already storied career as one of the most respected soloists to emerge from the IZ*ONE generation.
