AM8IC (엠빅) is a five-member boy group under TOV Entertainment that officially debuted on November 10, 2025 with the EP LUKOIE. The group is made up of Mingkai, Roux, Saho, Chungyi, and Chen. Although every member is Chinese, AM8IC trained and debuted through a Korean idol system, making them a notable name among 5th generation K-pop rookies.
The group’s name blends “AMBI” (meaning two-way) with “CONNECT,” symbolizing lost boys who find growth and salvation through genuine connection with one another. Before their official bow, AM8IC built anticipation with two pre-release tracks, “Escher” and “Buzzin’,” before launching their debut EP LUKOIE, a six-track project inspired by a mythical dream god and built around a dark fantasy concept.
Produced by TOV Entertainment CEO Yoon Beom No, AM8IC’s title track “Link Up” blends bossa nova guitar riffs with UK garage influences, offering a dreamy yet approachable sound. Many of the members, including Mingkai, Roux, and Chungyi, previously trained together in TOV’s trainee unit YOUTOVE, while several also appeared on the Chinese survival show Starlight Boys.
