0WAVE is a five-member South Korean artist collective formed in Seoul, South Korea. The name is stylized as “0WAVE” but pronounced “Young Wave” (영웨이브) – a nod to the fresh, youthful energy the crew brings to every track. They officially debuted on December 14, 2022, with their first EP, off the wall, dropping under the PYRAT record label.

His stage name “VIIN” actually comes from his childhood nickname “Bin,” a shortened version of his birth name Yoon-bin – he just made it cooler.

He was a pre-debut member of TREASURE13 and its sub-unit MAGNUM before leaving the group and label prior to an official debut – which makes him one of the rare cases of someone who walked away from a major-label path to build something independent.

MODS (real name Kim Se-hoon) was born on September 12, 2001, making him a Virgo and a Snake in the Chinese zodiac. His roles in the group are vocalist and rapper, and he’s widely considered the best dancer in 0WAVE.

His stage name almost ended up being “히” (Hee) – but staff told him it didn’t suit him, and even Colde lost sleep over how much he disliked the original name idea.

Despite being a rapper and vocalist, he’s the top dancer in the entire crew – a fun surprise for anyone who pegs him as purely a mic guy.

He has a distinctive high-tone voice that sets him apart from the deeper vocal palette of the other members.

His MBTI is INTP – the “Logician” type – which fans say matches his quiet, analytical energy.

His favorite food is pizza – simple, reliable, and delicious.

He’s a guitarist – able to play the instrument, which gives him a musicality that goes beyond his vocal work.

yukon (real name Yoo Kang-hyun, English name Greg Yoo) stands out as the only American-born member of 0WAVE. Born on April 27, 2003, in Pullman, Washington, he’s a Taurus and a Sheep in the Chinese zodiac. His role is vocalist.

His stage name comes from a Joji song called “YUKON” – after listening to it, he decided it would make a cool stage name, and it didn’t hurt that it was similar to his actual name.

He is fully fluent in English, which gives 0WAVE an interesting bilingual dynamic within the group.

He’s been nicknamed “리틀 민식” (Little SIK-K) by fans and crew teasers due to his style bearing resemblance to the Korean rapper SIK-K.

Aiboy (real name Lee Seung-yoon) is the maknae (youngest member) of 0WAVE, born on March 21, 2006. He’s an Aries and a Dog in the Chinese zodiac. Despite being the youngest, his roles as rapper and vocalist punch well above his age.

His stage name combines the Japanese word “愛” (ai, meaning love) and the English word “boy” – making him literally “Love Boy,” which is incredibly sweet.

Despite being the youngest, he has the deepest voice in the entire group – which surprises pretty much everyone who hears it for the first time.

He speaks basic English, basic Japanese, and is fluent in Korean – showing impressive linguistic range for his age.

He listens to a lot of “cutesty” Japanese music for fun, which is an adorable contrast to his deep voice and rapper persona.

His favorite food is curry – and wooseojun’s favorite meal together is sharing curry with him.

If he could only eat one food forever, the answer is still curry – no hesitation.

He has a big appetite: two bowls of rice, multiple servings of meat, three regular meals a day, and snacks in between. He is built different.

He loves wearing fun sunglasses – a small detail that says a lot about his personality.
