From Child Actor to Idol Trainee

Before becoming an idol, Chansung appeared in television roles as a child performer, including MBC’s “Unstoppable High Kick” and KBS2’s “Jungle Fish.” He later competed on JYP Entertainment’s “Superstar Survival” alongside future bandmates Taecyeon and Junho, and joined the trainee program that would shape 2PM through Mnet’s “Hot Blood Men.” He debuted with the group on September 4, 2008.
