Huihyeon (희현), born Ki Hui-hyeon on June 16, 1995, in Jeonju, North Jeolla, South Korea, is a South Korean idol, rapper, singer-songwriter, and actress. Also known by her romanized name Heehyun, she serves as the leader, main rapper, and a lead dancer of the K-pop girl group DIA.

From Woollim Trainee to Cathy

Before joining DIA, Huihyeon trained at Woollim Entertainment, where she was once on track to debut with the girl group Lovelyz. When that plan changed, she moved to MBK Entertainment and debuted with DIA on September 14, 2015, under the stage name Cathy, taking on the role of main rapper from day one.

Produce 101 and a New Identity

Later that year, she paused DIA promotions to compete on Mnet’s high-profile survival show “Produce 101,” ultimately finishing 19th.
