Kyungmin

Kyungmin is the maknae, lead vocalist, and lead dancer of Pledis Entertainment’s boy group TWS. Born Lee Kyung-min (이경민) – originally registered as Lee Sung-bin (이성빈) before a legal name change – on October 2, 2007, in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, Kyungmin previously trained briefly at SM Entertainment during elementary school before studying at an audition academy and joining Pledis Entertainment in July 2022. Netizens have noted that he was the first person born in 2007 to debut as an idol under HYBE and Pledis Entertainment.

Kyungmin officially debuted with TWS on January 22, 2024, with the group’s first mini album Sparkling Blue. As lead vocalist, he is known for a fresh, youthful tone that stands out especially on high notes and is often responsible for the group’s harmonies and choruses; as lead dancer, his compact but powerful and precise movements make him one of TWS’s most talked-about performers despite being the shortest member. He taught himself to dance as a child simply by watching other idols’ choreography.

Since debut, Kyungmin has promoted through all of TWS’s releases, including Sparkling Blue, Summer Beat!, the single album Last Bell, Try with Us, the group’s Japanese debut single “Nice to See You Again,” Play Hard, and the 2026 mini album No Tragedy. He also joined groupmates Dohoon and Jihoon on the March 2026 collaboration single “You Like It I Love It” with American rapper 24kGoldn. Along the way, TWS earned Rookie of the Year recognition across nearly every major Korean music awards show in 2024 and 2025.

Off stage, Kyungmin is known for his mischievous, high-energy personality – his groupmates have called him the most playful member of TWS – along with hobbies like basketball, solving Rubik’s cubes, and jump-roping (he can reportedly do about 100 double-unders). He shares a dorm room with Hanjin and describes himself, only half-jokingly, as “the luckiest youngest member” of the group.
