Lily is the main vocalist and oldest member of NMIXX, the JYP Entertainment girl group known for pioneering MIXXpop, a genre-blending sound that mixes pop, hip-hop, and R&B. If you’ve followed fourth-generation K-pop at all, you’ve probably already heard her soar through a high note or two.

Early Life and K-pop Star Journey

Born Lily Jin Park Morrow on October 17, 2002, in Marysville, Victoria, Australia, Lily grew up with a Korean mother and an Australian father — a Korean-Australian upbringing that would later become central to her identity as an idol. When she was a young child, her family’s home was destroyed in the Black Saturday bushfires, and singing became her way of working through that loss. That love of music carried her onto K-pop Star Season 4 in 2014, where, at just 12 years old, she finished in fourth place and caught the attention of JYP Entertainment.

She signed with the agency in 2015 and trained for six and a half years before her big moment finally arrived.

Debut with NMIXX

Lily was revealed as the seventh and final member of NMIXX in November 2021, and the group made its official debut on February 22, 2022, with the single album Ad Mare and its title track “O.O.” As NMIXX’s main vocalist, she’s since anchored era after era — from Expérgo and A Midsummer Nmixx’s Dream to the group’s genre-shifting Fe3O4 trilogy and their acclaimed debut studio album, Blue Valentine.

Beyond the Stage

Away from music, Lily has built her own media presence, competing on King of Mask Singer and later hosting the interview series Issue Club. She’s bilingual in English and Korean with basic Japanese, which has made her a natural bridge between NMIXX and its growing international fanbase, NSWER.

Whether she’s hitting a falsetto note in the studio or curling up with a book between schedules, Lily continues to stand out as one of the most technically gifted vocalists of her generation — and one of NMIXX’s most quietly resilient members.
