Who Is Woojin? The Composer and Main Dancer Behind LNGSHOT’s Sound

Woojin is the main dancer, lead rapper, and composer of LNGSHOT, the boy group formed under MORE VISION by Jay Park. Born Jung Woo Jin on March 8, 2008, Woojin stands out as one of the group’s most multi-talented members — someone who doesn’t just perform the music, but helps write it too.

From Trainee Demo to Debut Title Track

One of the most notable facts about Woojin is that LNGSHOT’s debut single “Moonwalkin'” began as his own solo demo, written during his trainee evaluation period. When Jay Park heard it, he decided it deserved to become a group song instead — a decision that turned Woojin’s personal project into LNGSHOT’s breakout title track on the EP SHOT CALLERS, released January 13, 2026. That songwriting credit is part of why Woojin holds the official position of Composer within the group.

Education and Talent

Woojin currently studies Practical Dance at Hanlim Arts High School, reinforcing his role as LNGSHOT’s main dancer. Combined with his composing and rapping duties, he’s considered a true all-rounder within the group.

Personality and Fun Facts

Woojin describes his own personality as honest, and he’s known as one of the most playful members of LNGSHOT — a side that came out even more after spending so much time with fellow member Ryul. He keeps two pet cats named Bank and Cloud, considers his physique his biggest charm point, and enjoys watching animated shows in his downtime. Unlike Ryul, he doesn’t like pineapple.
