Who Is Suho?

Suho, born Kim Jun-myeon on May 22, 1991, is a South Korean singer and actor who serves as the leader and lead vocalist of the boy group EXO under SM Entertainment. Discovered through street casting as a teenager, he trained for roughly six years before EXO’s debut in 2012, the longest training period among the group’s original members.

Education and Early Training

Suho attended the prestigious Whimoon High School before majoring in Acting at the Korea National University of Arts, a program he later withdrew from in 2011 to focus fully on EXO’s upcoming debut. He went on to study business administration at Kyung Hee Cyber University and later completed a master’s degree in cultural management at Inha University, reflecting his long-standing interest in the industry beyond performing.

Since EXO’s 2012 debut with the mini album Mama, Suho has led the group through era after era, from breakout hits like Growl to million-selling albums such as Don’t Mess Up My Tempo.
