Jihoon

Jihoon is the main dancer and sub vocalist of Pledis Entertainment’s boy group TWS. Born Han Ji-hoon (한지훈) on March 28, 2006, in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, Jihoon is one of the most experienced trainees in the group, having previously trained under three of Korea’s so-called “Big 4” entertainment companies – BigHit Music, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment – before joining Pledis. He was also a former member of BigHit Music’s pre-debut boy group Trainee A, whose planned debut was ultimately shelved.

Jihoon officially debuted with TWS on January 22, 2024, with the group’s first mini album Sparkling Blue. As the group’s main dancer, he is best known for powerful, precise choreography, strong hip-hop and tutting technique, and a hand in creating some of TWS’s own dance breaks; he is also a stable live vocalist with a bright, energetic tone that has earned him the additional sub vocalist position. His representative emoji within the group is a jellyfish – his self-declared favorite animal.

Since debut, Jihoon has promoted through every TWS release, from Sparkling Blue and Summer Beat! to the single album Last Bell, the mini albums Try with Us and Play Hard, the group’s July 2025 Japanese debut single “Nice to See You Again,” and the 2026 EP No Tragedy. Along the way, TWS has picked up Rookie of the Year recognition at the Asia Artist Awards, Asia Star Entertainer Awards, Hanteo Music Awards, MAMA Awards, and Melon Music Awards, plus a Bonsang win at the Golden Disc Awards for “Plot Twist.”

Off stage, Jihoon is known for his playful, prank-loving personality – he has described himself as the most extroverted member of TWS – along with a love of guitar (taught to him by his father), fashion, and tutting. He speaks Korean, Japanese, and English, and is in charge of bringing “energy” to the group according to his fellow members.
