Who Is Eunha?

Eunha, born Jung Eun-bi (정은비) on May 30, 1997, in Seoul, South Korea, is a South Korean singer best known as the lead vocalist of GFriend and, since 2022, the main vocalist of the trio VIVIZ. Celebrated for her crystal-clear high notes and bright stage presence, she is one of the most vocally distinctive idols of her generation.

Early Life and Trainee Years

Eunha grew up in Seoul and, as a child, was diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), a rare condition she was successfully treated for by elementary school. She trained briefly at Big Hit Entertainment before joining Source Music, where she was chosen for GFriend after only about two months of training — one of the shortest trainee periods among the members.

GFriend Era

Eunha debuted with GFriend on January 15, 2015, quickly becoming known as the group’s “girlfriend voice” for her sweet, powerful tone. She lent lead vocals to hits like “Rough,” “Navillera,” and “Fingertip,” and released her first solo track, the OST “Don’t Come to Farewell,” for the drama “Six Flying Dragons” in 2016. She also featured on Block B’s Park Kyung’s “Inferiority Complex,” which earned nominations at MAMA, MMA, and the Golden Disc Awards.

VIVIZ Era

After GFriend’s 2021 hiatus, Eunha signed with BPM Entertainment alongside former members SinB and Umji, re-debuting as VIVIZ on February 9, 2022 with “Beam of Prism.” As VIVIZ’s main vocalist, she has anchored the group’s evolving sound across EPs like “VarioUS,” “VERSUS” — home to the viral hit “MANIAC” — and “VOYAGE,” as well as their 2025 debut full-length album, “A Montage of ( ).” She released her first solo single, “Pat Pat,” in 2024, and has continued collaborating widely, including with EXO’s Xiumin and Mighty Mouth.

Recent Developments

In January 2025, Eunha reunited with all five GFriend members for the group’s 10th-anniversary project, “Season of Memories.” Throughout 2025, VIVIZ toured extensively on their “New Legacy” world tour. In March 2026, VIVIZ terminated their exclusive contract with BPM Entertainment amid a payment dispute, a development the group addressed publicly while continuing to fulfill prior commitments to their fandom, Na.V.
