Early Life and Trainee Days

Born in Seoul, JU-NE appeared on the first season of “Kpop Star” before joining YG Entertainment as a trainee in April 2012. He competed on the 2013 survival show “WIN: Who Is Next” as a member of Team B, and was later confirmed as iKON’s fourth member through the show “Mix & Match.”

Debut and Musical Growth
