Hearts2Hearts (하츠투하츠), often shortened to H2H, is SM Entertainment’s newest K-pop girl group, and it arrived with a lot riding on its shoulders. This eight-member act made its debut on February 24, 2025 with the single album The Chase, and it holds a special distinction: it’s SM’s largest girl group lineup since Girls’ Generation debuted with nine members back in 2007, and the label’s first new girl group since aespa in 2020.

So who’s in Hearts2Hearts? The group is made up of Jiwoo (the leader), Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Juun, A-na, Ian, and Ye-on, the group’s maknae. It’s a genuinely international lineup too — Carmen is the first Indonesian idol to debut under SM Entertainment, and Stella grew up partly in Canada, giving the group a wider cultural range than most rookie acts.

The group’s name, Hearts2Hearts, is meant to represent connecting with fans around the world through a “mysterious and beautiful musical world filled with various emotions and heartfelt messages,” moving forward together as a bigger “us.” That mission statement shows up in the group’s sound, which blends dreamy R&B production with sharp, youthful pop hooks on songs like “The Chase,” “Style,” “Pretty Please,” and “Rude!”

Even in their first year, Hearts2Hearts picked up a wave of rookie honors, reportedly taking home seven or more Best New Artist-type trophies at year-end shows including MAMA Awards, Melon Music Awards, and the Seoul Music Awards. Their debut single “The Chase” earned the group their first music show win just 15 days after debut – a strong signal that this SM 3.0-era rookie group was built to make an immediate impact.
