Stella

Stella is a Korean-Canadian vocalist of the SM Entertainment girl group Hearts2Hearts (H2H), who officially debuted on February 24, 2025 with the single album “The Chase.” Born Kim Da-hyun on June 18, 2007, in Ulsan, South Korea, Stella spent part of her childhood in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, before her family returned to South Korea and settled in Busan after the COVID-19 pandemic. That cross-cultural upbringing is a big part of what makes her one of the more globally-minded members of the 5th generation K-pop group.

Stella’s road to becoming an idol began in kindergarten, where her love of performing first took root. She trained at MuDoctor Academy in Busan, and at an in-house audition there she reportedly wowed scouts so much that she received casting offers from 32 out of 60 agencies — the highest number among all the trainees at the audition. She ultimately chose SM Entertainment, officially joining the label in 2023 before being revealed as a Hearts2Hearts member on February 3, 2025.

As a member of Hearts2Hearts, Stella has promoted through the group’s rapidly growing discography, including “The Chase,” “Style” (which was released on her own birthday, June 18), “Focus,” “Pretty Please,” “Rude!,” and “Lemon Tang.” Alongside her groupmates Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Juun, A-na, Ian, and Ye-on, she has helped Hearts2Hearts become one of the most talked-about rookie girl groups of the year, earning a Best New Artist win at the 2025 MAMA Awards and Rookie of the Year honors at the 2026 Seoul Music Awards, among other accolades.

Beyond music, Stella holds a black belt in Taekwondo, enjoys casual and cute video games, and is known for playing loud electronic music to stay motivated during workouts. Fans have grown fond of her bright, easygoing ENFP personality, her bilingual Korean-English background, and her warm chemistry with the rest of Hearts2Hearts. As the group continues to expand internationally with showcases across Asia and North America, Stella’s international upbringing makes her a natural bridge between Hearts2Hearts and its growing global fanbase, S2U.
