Juyeon

Juyeon (주연), born Lee Ju Yeon (이주연), is a South Korean K-pop idol who serves as the main dancer, sub vocalist, and visual of the boy group The Boyz. Born on January 15, 1998, in Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, Juyeon was discovered by a casting director while attending a concert with his family, and trained for two and a half years before debuting with The Boyz on December 6, 2017.

Known for his long lines, striking visuals, and versatile dance skills spanning hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and acrobatics, Juyeon quickly earned nicknames like “Baby Wolf” and “Junyangi” from fans. As the group’s performance center, he played a defining role in The Boyz’s first-place win on Mnet’s Road to Kingdom in 2020, helping cement the group’s reputation for some of the sharpest, most theatrical choreography in K-pop.

Juyeon has also built a career beyond music, working as an MC for SBS MTV’s The Show, joining the cast of tvN’s 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4, and making his film acting debut in the short film YOUNGYOUNG, where he played a vampire, at the Jeonju International Film Festival. Fluent in English and often praised for his fashion sense, Juyeon is regularly seen at global fashion events alongside other leading fourth-generation K-pop idols.

In 2026, Juyeon and the majority of The Boyz members won a court ruling that ended their exclusive contract with ONE HUNDRED, allowing the group to continue promoting independently. Fans, known as THE B, continue to celebrate Juyeon for his dedication to dance, his expanding acting career, and his warm, down-to-earth personality.
