Leeseo

Leeseo, born Lee Hyun-seo, is a South Korean singer and dancer serving as the youngest member (maknae) of the girl group IVE under Starship Entertainment. Born on February 21, 2007, in Banpo-dong, Seocho District, Seoul, she worked as a child model under SM Entertainment’s kids modeling division before being scouted by Starship Entertainment in 2019 while out shopping with her parents.

After roughly two years of training, Leeseo was revealed as the sixth and final member of IVE on November 12, 2021, completing the group’s lineup. The group made its official debut on December 1, 2021, with the single album Eleven, and Leeseo made history at the time as one of the youngest K-pop idols ever to perform on a live music show. As part of IVE’s dance line alongside Yujin and Gaeul, she has grown into her role as lead dancer, sub-vocalist, and visual over the group’s discography, from “LOVE DIVE” through “REBEL HEART” and beyond.

Outside of group promotions, Leeseo has steadily built her own individual profile. In June 2022, she and member Wonyoung took part in the Starship-Pepsi collaborative single “Blue & Black” alongside members of Oh My Girl and Cravity. On February 22, 2024, on her seventeenth birthday, she released the OST track “May Lily” for the webtoon I’m the Queen in This Life, which has since amassed over a million views. Starting in April 2024, she also expanded into broadcasting, serving as an MC for SBS’s Inkigayo for over a year and a half alongside Moon Seong-hyun and ZEROBASEONE’s Han Yu-jin.

A student in Hanlim Multi Art School’s Broadcasting and Entertainment department, Leeseo graduated in January 2026. Known within IVE for her bright, energetic personality and her catchphrase “I like it!,” she continues to grow as both a performer and an on-air personality while remaining the group’s beloved “baby.”
