Louis is the main vocalist and maknae of the South Korean boy group LNGSHOT (명랑샷, stylized as LONG SHOT), the debut act from MORE VISION, the label founded by American rapper and producer Jay Park. Born Louis Elliot Jourdain Lim (Korean name Lim Ji Ho, 임지호) on May 1, 2010, Louis holds the distinction of being the first French member to debut in a K-pop boy group, a fact that has made him one of the most talked-about rookies of 2026.

Louis was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, to a French father and a Korean mother. He grew up speaking French at home and spent eight years studying at the Lycée Français de Séoul (LFS), which is why he says he actually feels most comfortable speaking French, even above Korean. He’s also fluent in English and knows some Spanish, making him one of the most multilingual idols of his generation. Because of his height and gentle personality, his LNGSHOT members affectionately call him “Big Elephant Giant Baby.”

Louis joined MORE VISION after passing the company’s global audition and trained for about two years starting at age 13. Even before debut, he made a name for himself as a songwriter, co-writing Jay Park’s track “Remedy” together with fellow member Ohyul. He was officially confirmed as Main Vocalist through the members’ self-written MelOn Hi-Rising profiles.

Louis was revealed as a member of LNGSHOT on September 20, 2025. The group’s pre-debut era kicked off with the mixtape “4SHOBOIZ MIXTAPE” on November 5, 2025, followed by the single “Saucin'” on December 22, 2025. LNGSHOT then officially debuted on January 13, 2026 with the EP “SHOT CALLERS,” led by the title track “Moonwalkin’.” The group went on to release the EP “Training Day” on March 23, 2026, featuring Louis’s solo-credited track “Good Girls,” and later joined forces with label boss Jay Park for the collaborative mixtape “4shoboiz Vol. 2: 4shoville” in May 2026.

Beyond his idol duties, Louis is known for his love of music composing and arranging, spending much of his free time writing songs, listening to music, and immersing himself in the creative process. He’s also an animal lover with a one-year-old cat named Hunter, and he enjoys simple comfort foods like hamburgers and pizza. As the tallest member of LNGSHOT at 187 cm, his soft-spoken charm paired with his soulful vocal tone (often compared to Justin Bieber) has quickly won over fans, known as SHOTTIES, around the world.
