Sullyoon

Sullyoon is the lead vocalist and visual of NMIXX, the JYP Entertainment girl group known for its ambitious, boundary-pushing MIXXpop sound. Elegant, disciplined, and effortlessly camera-ready, she’s long been considered one of the standout faces of fourth-generation K-pop.

Early Life and Path to Debut

Born Seol Yoon-a on January 26, 2004, in Daejeon, South Korea, Sullyoon showed star quality early, once winning a childhood beauty contest and later serving as both elementary school student council president and high school class president. Before landing at JYP Entertainment, she passed auditions with several major agencies, including SM, YG, TS, The Black Label, and Fantagio — but chose JYP, partly out of admiration for TWICE. She trained at Hanlim Multi Arts High School alongside fellow member Bae.

Debut with NMIXX

Sullyoon was revealed as NMIXX’s fourth member in September 2021 through a cover of Sunmi’s “Full Moon,” and the group made its official debut on February 22, 2022, with Ad Mare. As lead vocalist, her smooth, velvet-toned voice and wide vocal range have anchored NMIXX releases from Entwurf through the group’s debut studio album, Blue Valentine, and the 2026 EP Heavy Serenade.

Life Beyond NMIXX

Sullyoon spent nearly two years as a fixed MC on Show! Music Core, further raising her profile outside the group. Fluent in Korean, English, and Spanish, she brings both polish and warmth to NMIXX’s growing global reach.
