Dohoon

Dohoon is the center and all-rounder of TWS (투어스), Pledis Entertainment’s rising boy group celebrated for its youthful “boyhood pop” sound. Born Kim Do-hoon on January 30, 2005, in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, Dohoon grew up in the Gongneung neighborhood of Nowon-gu and went through one of the longest trainee journeys in the group, spending seven years preparing for his debut between 2017 and 2024.

As center, Dohoon anchors many of TWS’s choreographies and formations, a position confirmed in November 2024 after months of fan speculation. He’s also recognized as the group’s “all-rounder,” contributing across rap, dance, and vocals depending on what a song needs, which has made him one of the most versatile members of the lineup.

Trainee Years and Debut

Dohoon attended Seoul Yongwon Elementary School, Hancheon Middle School, and Hanlim Arts High School’s Practical Music Department. His long trainee period, one of the most extensive among his groupmates, gave him time to build friendships across the industry, including with xikers’ Seeun, a former classmate, and TXT’s Huening Kai. He officially debuted with TWS on January 22, 2024, in the mini album Sparkling Blue.

Personality, Style, and Interests

Known within TWS as the group’s trendsetter thanks to his genuine love of fashion, Dohoon is also an avid soccer fan who supports Liverpool FC. He describes his own charming point as his playful personality, and fellow members note his habit of touching his hair and his talent for impressions, from SpongeBob to his own groupmates. In March 2025, Dohoon’s growing presence outside the group was recognized when he was named a co-host of MBC’s Show! Music Core, alongside Hearts2Hearts’ A-Na and ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Gyu-vin.
