Lee Ji-woo, active under the stage name JiWoo, is a South Korean singer and actress who serves as one of the Main Vocalists of MODHAUS’s 24-member girl group tripleS. Born on October 24, 2005, in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, JiWoo first caught the public eye not as a contestant but as a model for a survival show’s promotional trailer — a role that ended up launching her entire idol career.
From Trainee to Survival Show Star
Before appearing on television, JiWoo trained at several major Korean agencies, including YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and FNC Entertainment. She originally worked as a model for the trailer of the survival competition “My Teenage Girl,” but the experience convinced her to audition for the show herself. She competed as a contestant, earning recognition as one of the show’s top visuals before being eliminated in episode 11.
