Who Is HyeRin of tripleS?

Jeong Hye-rin, promoted under the stage name HyeRin, is a South Korean idol and the second revealed member of tripleS, MODHAUS’s 24-member fan-participatory girl group. Born on April 12, 2007, in Daegu, South Korea, she was introduced to fans as S2 on May 17, 2022, and made her musical debut on October 28, 2022, in tripleS’s very first sub-unit, Acid Angel from Asia, with the mini album ACCESS and the title track “Generation.”

Early Life and Pre-Debut Training

HyeRin entered the entertainment industry at around age eleven, appearing in a commercial and starring as the lead character, SeKyung, in the children’s drama Between Us. She trained at P NATION from 2019 to 2021 alongside fellow future tripleS member Kim NaKyoung, before joining MODHAUS and becoming one of the earliest members revealed in the group’s pre-debut project.

Debut, Sub-Units, and Leadership

As a main dancer and sub-vocalist, HyeRin has been one of tripleS’s most consistently active members. After debuting with Acid Angel from Asia, she joined the collaborative unit ACID EYES and the eight-member unit LOVElution for the mini album MUHAN in 2023. In June 2024 she was voted the first member and leader of the twelve-member dance unit Visionary Vision, debuting with the studio album Performante and its title track “Hit the Floor.” Most recently, she joined the sub-unit sun in 2025, debuting with “Bubble Gum Girl” from Beyond Beauty.

Personality and Fan Appeal

HyeRin is known among tripleS’s 24 members as one of the group’s best cooks and biggest foodies. A longtime fan of BLACKPINK and f(x), both of whom inspired her idol dreams, she balances a playful personality with sharp dance skills honed since childhood. Represented within tripleS by the color Electric Purple and a cat emoji, HyeRin has built a devoted following among WAV, tripleS’s official fandom, thanks to her warmth, work ethic, and leadership within Visionary Vision.
